Grammateas

The receptionist who never misses a call.

Grammateas picks up your business phone every hour of every day. She speaks Greek, English, German, French and Spanish, books appointments, takes messages and puts through the calls you need to take yourself.

Live in one working day, on the number and the phone system you already have.

Everything a good receptionist would do. Without a day off.

Answers at once, in Greek.
Picks up on the first ring, with your business's name. She understands Greek, English, German, French and Spanish — accents and all — and changes language mid-call if the caller asks.
Books appointments.
She sees your calendar, offers times, books, sends the confirmation. She moves or cancels when the customer asks.
She knows your business.
Opening hours, prices, address, services, what you do and what you do not. You tell her once and she answers correctly, without inventing anything.
Puts you on when it matters.
A customer who wants you, a subject she does not know, someone who is upset: she transfers the call to you or to a colleague, with a short briefing first.
Takes a message and tells you.
When you cannot answer, she keeps the name, the number and the subject and sends them to your Slack, your e-mail or by SMS. Nothing is lost.
Every call, in writing.
A transcript, a summary and what was agreed, for every conversation. You can read them whenever you like.

She joins your business in a day.

You do not change your number, you do not change your phone system, you install nothing.

  1. You give her the line.

Either you forward your number, or we connect the phone system you already have (Yeastar, 3CX, FreePBX or your provider's). If you prefer, we give you a new number.

  2. You teach her the job.

Opening hours, services, prices, common questions, who she may interrupt and when. We set her up together in a one-hour meeting.

  3. She answers from tomorrow.

You hear her on test calls, correct whatever you want, and put her on the line. From then on she tells you what happened.

Talk to her now.

This is Grammateas herself, answering with what she knows about the service. Ask her what she does, what it costs, tell her something she does not know. See how she answers.

Or call her:

The questions everybody asks.

Does she really understand Greek?

Yes. She understands everyday Greek, with accents, half-finished sentences and line noise, and answers in a natural Greek voice. If someone speaks English, German, French or Spanish, she switches to it — in the same call.

What happens if she does not know the answer?

She says so. She does not invent prices, times or promises. She asks a question to understand, takes a message, or transfers the call to you. You decide which of the three.

Does the caller know they are talking to software?

Yes, she says so in one sentence at the start, as the law requires. In practice most people carry on as normal, because they get what they called for.

Do I have to change my number or my phone system?

No. Either you forward your calls, or we connect the system you already have as a line to Grammateas. Transfers back to you ring your own extensions exactly as before.

Where do the recordings and my customers' details go?

To servers in the European Union, with your own access and your right to erase. Recording is your choice, and so is how long it is kept.

How quickly does it start?

One meeting to set her up, test calls the same day, live the next. Changes after that — new opening hours, a new service — take a few minutes.
